
USA Roller Sports & Freestyle Roller USA is proud to recognize and align with the National Inline Skate Series as a valued competitive event series that provides meaningful opportunities for athlete development, performance benchmarking, and national-level competition.
As the governing body committed to advancing freestyle roller sports in the United States, F,USA Roller Sports & Freestyle Roller USA acknowledges NISS as a recognized competition pathway for athletes registered with USA Roller Sports who are pursuing qualification consideration for Team USA and participation in the 2026 World Skate Games.
The NISS series plays an important role in creating consistent, high-quality competitive opportunities that allow athletes to demonstrate skill progression, competitive readiness, and commitment to excellence within the sport. Through this alignment, we continue to strengthen the athlete development pipeline and support transparent, credible pathways for athletes aspiring to represent the United States on the world stage.
To be considered for the USA Team, athletes must sign up for the USA Roller Sports Membership and complete the required Safe Sport Classes. For questions and instructions, see the "How To Register for USARS Membership" section below.

Add your email address and click "Continue"

Fill in the form with your legal name, a password for your account, your gender and date of birth and click "Register".

Log into your account using your email and password (if it doesn't sign you in automatically). When you are signed in you should be able to see your dashboard. Click the "View" button in the "Individual Membership" card.

Read the Welcome Message and click "Next". In the "Membership Details" section, select "Full Competition Membership - Adult", then click "Next".

In the "Club Info" section, there is a dropdown menu to select your Club.
In the dropdown menu, type in "USA" and select the option "Team USA Roller Freestyle ...", then click "Next".

Confirm your profile information then click "Next" for Member Information, Contact Details and Address.
In the "Disciplines" section, select Extreme for "Primary Sports Discipline" and Inline Freestyle for "Extreme Disciplines", then click "Next"
In the next section, provide your demographic information or opt out, then click "Next"

In the "Waiver" section please read the "Waivers Policy Agreement", click the check box, then click on the "Add" button in the bottom right corner of your screen.
On the next screen skip certifications. Then checkout the shopping cart to pay for the membership.

Once you have a valid membership, follow the steps on this website to complete the SafeSport classes.
All athletes who wish to be considered to compete at the World Skate Games MUST complete the SafeSport classes.
